These logs are meticulously dried in wood-fired kilns, reducing the moisture content to an average of 20% or less (as per the Ready to Burn Scheme). This ensures a cleaner stove glass, prevents soot buildup, and maximises heat output. As a result, you'll need fewer kiln-dried logs compared to seasoned logs, providing excellent value for money.
Unlike traditionally seasoned logs, kiln-dried logs offer consistent quality and moisture levels, ensuring reliable performance every time. The standard 25cm length is compatible with 99% of wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, making it the ideal choice for heating.
